The Founder Cabernet Sauvignon is a tribute to our forefather, John Barton Hack. John arrived in the fledgling South Australia colony of Adelaide in 1837,and soon established himself as a key influencer and entrepreneur. John’s business empire spanned agriculture, merchant sales, building works and public life. Most famously, John Barton Hack – along with his brother, Stephen – created the colony’s first wine in 1837. As sush, he is considered the founding forefather of the South Australia wine industry. We salute him.

The Founder Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and full bodied, with hints of dark chocolate and blackcurrant, and soft oak tannins.
